Cabin in the Wood
This is a project that tuns a simple structure into an efficent sustaiable space. The design uitalizes maximum use of space in the goal of keeping the environment open and light. Water is gathered from the roof gutters, Electricity is pulled from solar panels on the roof, Heat/cooking is from wood and gas . Believe it or not, the footprint of the first floor is only 12x10. The sleeping space extends over the front porch utalizing once wasted space above the porch. This is a great example of thransforming storage into a fully funcitonal living environment.More...
